Byron Shire Community Attitudes Telephone Survey

In an effort to continue our public consultation we have commissioned a telephone survey to assess the local Byron Shire community’s attitude to a range of issues.

The objective of North Byron Shire Parklands was to choose a highly experienced market research company to prepare an impartial questionnaire with interviews conducted by an accredited market research field work agency.

We engaged local Byron based company Fresh Projects to prepare the questionnaire. Fresh Projects are experts in providing market research services to both private business and government organizations.

Fresh Projects then introduced Unity4 to manage the interview process. Unity4 are a leading provider of call centre services, with operations in every state and territory of Australia.

The telephone interview process was advised by Fresh Projects as the best way to get a balanced, accurate and methodologically rigorous account of community attitudes.

The survey involved 302 Byron Shire residents 18 years and over was conducted between the 20th to 28th of July 2007.

The summary of key findings of the Byron Shire Community Attitudes Telephone survey is available by clicking on the link below.
