NBSP held its second community tree planting day at the property on Sunday 25th of November 2007.

It was a beautiful day with many community members, family and friends attending the event. While people got their hands dirty planting a range of lovely endemic native species along parts of the currently cleared wildlife corridor, lilting tunes pervaded the air from a host of local musicians and artists.
A welcome to country was given by Athol Compton, respected elder of the Minjungbal People and everyone was treated to some wonderful dances performed by young indigenous kids led and taught by Dhinawan. NBSP has now planted over 2,500 trees and with our recent success in obtaining a Commonwealth grant from Envirofund for just on $40,000, we will be planting many more trees over the coming months.
